Gale A. Britton Diversity & Inclusion Consulting Services (GBDI) consults with organizations seeking to create and maintain more diverse and inclusive workplaces. My work focuses on customized solutions that fit the current climate and culture of the firm while building holistic programmatic support that will sustain more compliant, respectful, and engaging workspaces. These solutions, tailored to the needs of the organization, drive employee engagement, innovation, retention, and ultimately bottom line results. Maybe your organization wishes to refresh their current strategy, or your organization wants to create and develop a diversity council to drive associate involvement and engagement. Alternatively, perhaps, the leadership is tired of what journalist Maria Hinojosa refers to as "the diversity mambo--two steps forward and two steps back," and your organization is ready for a different approach. I approach my work with full appreciation and respect for diverse voices and how their perspectives elevate and enhance our society at large, particularly in the workplace. As a black woman who has personally navigated Corporate America successfully for over thirty years, I understand, first-hand, the challenges and difficulties that can exist in the workplace. With a hybrid of my own corporate experience and business acumen, I provide a fresh, passionate, and learned perspective to diversity education, leadership development, and facilitating conversations surrounding identity, power, and privilege. My vast experience includes strategy development and implementation, curriculum design and delivery, conference planning, and public speaking. In creating this organization, it is my goal to help businesses identify solutions to complex issues as they pertain to diversity and inclusion.
